In mid-April, I visited Bordeaux for an extensive two-week wine-tasting session. I tasted around 300 wines from the 2023 vintage barrel and a "couple" of wines from other vintages. I will continuously post my tasting notes on the website, and the first in line are wines from Saint-Emilion and Pomerol.
----
1. TNs on wines tasted in October 2023 from Danish winemaker Peter Sisseck in Spain (Pingus, Flor de Pingus, PSI) and Bordeaux (La Fleur Rocheyron and Rocheyron) are available in "Horizontal and Vertical tastings".
2. Two weeks in Bordeaux in April 2023 to taste the 2022 vintage from the barrel. TNs of 360 barrel samples are published in "VINTAGES." Tasting notes on 40+ wines from the 2021 vintage bottled are published in the section "2021 Bordeaux from barrel".
3.I added a Burgundy & Beaujolais section to the menu bar with my reviews of the best wines from these regions. In April 2022, I tasted Morgon Cote du Puy from five producers in vintages 2018 and 2019 and other wines from the same producers in June 2022. In August 2023, I tasted 16 Beaujolais Crus, mostly in vintage 2020.
4. I regularly post my tasting notes on a fantastic website run by Pekka Nuikki from Finland - www.tastingbook.com. As of May 2024, I've had over 12,350+ followers and published 3,150+ tasting notes on this platform. In the 2024 "The Best Wine Critic in the World" competition, I was ranked no. 22 among the 37 finalists.
